Construction of the South Drainage Diversion System and the Lake Pumping Station in Chiayi City

Program Overview : 
    Due to the change of the drainage system around the development zone after the expropriation of the inner section of the lake, after review, when the Bazhang River reaches the flood frequency of 50 years, it will cause the external water to rise and the internal water cannot be discharged, so the diversion method is adopted, and a 5m×3m box culvert (about 1.8 km in length) is extended downstream from the south drainage outlet along the current Bazhang River flood control road and then discharged into Bazhang Creek to facilitate flood discharge. In addition, due to the risk of flooding in the areas that have not been included in the levy and the incineration plant, it is necessary to build a pumping station in the lake (with a total pumping capacity of 6cms).
