    In order to provide a better living space for the citizens of Douliu and create an image of "ancient capital town and waterfront style", the Yunlin County Government began the Yunlin Creek Lifting Project in 105 years, but due to the poor water quality of the upstream and downstream sections of the Niuxu Bridge in the Yunlin Creek Lifting Section, in order to avoid the impact on residents due to water pollution after the lifting of the cover, the plan plans to intercept the downstream sewage of Yunlinxi University Road, and set up a natural purification treatment facility to purify the water quality and release it back to Yunlin Creek; In addition, the sewage from the second bank canal section is intercepted and sent to the Zhidouliu Water Resources Recovery Center for treatment, so that the sewage is no longer discharged into the channel, hoping to restore Yunlin Creek to the environment of the clear water body in the past, and bring local residents and tourists who come to visit to feel the sustainable development vision of Douliu Ancient Capital Town and Yunlin Creek Waterfront Style.
