Client : Water Resources Bureau of the Southern District, Water Resources Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs
Location : Yanchao District, Kaohsiung City
Program Overview :
As the number of good dam sites available for future reservoir construction in Taiwan has gradually decreased, reservoir construction has become increasingly difficult. In order to strengthen the conservation of the existing reservoir and maintain the existing reservoir capacity and function, the Southern District Water Resources Bureau of the Water Resources Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (hereinafter referred to as the Southern Water Bureau) handled the "Preliminary Planning of the Agongdian and Peony Reservoir Pumping and Discharge Scheme into the Sea" in the 106th year of the Republic of China, so as to promote the sustainable operation of the Agongdian Reservoir and develop a suitable access to the sea plan, and obtained preliminary results. In order to further assess the possibility of promotion, the Southern Water Bureau has specially handled the "Feasibility Assessment and Mechanical Dredging Work Planning and Design of Agongdian Reservoir Pumping into the Sea" (hereinafter referred to as the Plan). The plan is divided into two parts according to the implementation period:
(ㄧ)"Planning and design of short-term dredging work, assistance in bidding and construction consultation", this part is due to the "Agongdian Reservoir Reservoir Capacity Effective Maintenance Implementation Plan" of the 108 years of the scheduled dredging (land excavation or dredging) volume of 30,000 m3, and then in order to accelerate the dredging operation, the water resources department has been planned, increased to 50,000 m3 in 109, and increased to 100,000 m3 in 110, but considering that the capacity of the reservoir earthwork temporary storage area is insufficient, and it will take a long time to promote the mud pumping into the sea, so this plan plans to strengthen the short-term mechanical dredging strategy, The use of sludge pumping operations to return the sediments of the reservoir to the river channel (refers to the sediment within the reservoir impoundment area or its ancillary sand retention facilities to be transported by dredging and transporting, and the sediment is spread in the river area downstream of the reservoir or the appropriate area within the reservoir water storage area, hereinafter referred to as dredging), in order to achieve the short-term goal of mechanical dredging.
(二)"Feasibility Assessment and Detailed Planning of the Sludge Pumping into the Sea", this part will conduct relevant review and analysis on the basis of the preferred route proposed in the "Preliminary Planning of the Muddy Pumping into the Sea Plan of Ah Gongdian and Mudan Reservoir", and make a comprehensive feasibility assessment of the mud pumping into the sea plan, so as to further evaluate the feasibility of promoting the mud pumping into the sea.
