Banxin Dahan River Water Source Southward Diversion Taoyuan Plan - Water Supply Pipe and Dingshan Foot Pressurization Station

Program Overview : 
    In order to stabilize the future water supply security in the Taoyuan area, in accordance with the "Special Regulations for the Improvement of Shimen Reservoir and its Catchment Area", Taiwan Water Company cooperated with the Water Resources Administration's Banxin Phase II Water Supply Improvement Plan to bury pipelines with a pipe diameter of φ1800mm~2000mm and a total length of about 12.6 kilometers from the Banxin Water Supply Plant in New Taipei City to the Danan Water Supply Plant in Taoyuan City, and at the same time built a pressurization station at the foot of Dingshan Mountain, so that the water source of Dahan River can be diverted south to the Taoyuan area, supporting 510,000 CMD of water volume.
