Program Overview : 
    Dajia Creek flows through Taichung County, Nantou County and Yilan County, etc., and was severely hit by the 921 earthquake and Typhoon Taozhi, and after the 72 flood, part of the connecting road along Dajia Creek collapsed, the soil and rocks on both banks collapsed or slided, or the soil and sand silted up the river, etc., causing terrain changes, road interruptions, and even endangering the lives and property of neighboring people and causing damage to public facilities.
    In order to completely solve the problem of soil and rock disasters and floods, the overall planning is carried out in order to achieve the integrity, safety, ecology and humanistic rectification, and within the scope of the investigation, the key problems of the catchment area are studied and countermeasures are proposed and the key treatment sections are planned, in addition to being used as the basis for short, medium and long-term treatment plans, and integrating the resources of various units, through the annual and phased treatment planning, to curb the downward movement of sediment, reduce the occurrence of disasters, create an ecological environment, and promote local development, so that the district can achieve the win-win goal of rural economic development and soil and water conservation.
